Hervé fights the bad weather to get to Mass for Vocations
On Saturday 30th April, we celebrated Mass for Vocations at St Joseph’s Church in Sutton-in-Ashfield with their 5pm congregation. Although the day had been rather overcast it was sunny when we arrived. However, part way through Mass a huge hailstorm was heard beating on the roof of the church.
Luckily, Hervé had made it through on his bike in plenty of time and missed the worst of the weather, and set off back to Kirkby in good spirits hoping to avoid the remaining dark clouds before he got home. The rest of us got in our cars to make sure we didn’t get wet!
