Circle Golf Day (30th anniversary of its inception) – 24 June 2023

Mansfield and Dukeries Circle celebrated their 30th anniversary golf day on Saturday 24 June. This is one of the longest-running ‘sporting’ events in the Province and it was good to welcome both previous competitors and new ones to the day held at Ramsdale Golf Club.
It was a wonderful afternoon for Juan Crowe who picked up the guests’ trophy after a very accurate and high-scoring round and the longest drive with a mighty hit on the 15th hole. By the narrowest of margins, Juan also walked away with the nearest-the-pin award to confirm his dominance on the day!
The Circle’s Catenian champion for 2023 was Andrew Winson who played well all afternoon and fended off a late charge from both Martin Dillon and Peter Crowe.
Another successful, enjoyable golf day and we look forward to meeting old friends and new at next year’s event.
